First her fashion-based reality show for MTV was canned before it even aired and now her three-year relaysh is kaput, so it’s high time our favorite former reality star, Lauren Conrad, gets her mojo back!

And we know just the way!

It’s not quite as classy as cameras crews following as she launches a clothing line, but we think the Hills starlet should pick a new boy-toy and then document their road to the altar. Or their movie dates, whatevs. Think more Kardashians and Bethenny and less Newlyweds and The Bachelorette.

OK, hear us out.

Reynolds is simply adorable and should be on every poll of eligible bachelors, but we do think these two would look rather cute together. And although both have very public professions, they equally love keeping their private lives just that. But of course, they’d let cameras get a peek inside…on their terms.

After calling off his engagement a few weeks ago, Mraz is back on the market and the only man who can rival an L.A. girl’s fondness for fedoras. Plus, Mraz is a scruffy brunet bro, kinda like L.C.’s ex-BF, Kyle Howard.

Sanchez has made his way around the circle of sexy, single Hollywood ladies, but we totally think this Long Beach, Calif., native would have so much in common with the former Laguna Beach star. With L.C. needing to spend time in NYC for her fashion J.O.B. and Mark playing for the Jets, these kids could lead a very nice bicoastal lifestyle together.

And while Lauren and Brody have serious history, they also have some undeniable chemistry. With Brody’s GF Avril Lavigne getting all cuddly with her ex Deryck Whibley on a yacht this week, we say it gives Brody a free pass to hang with his ex as well!

Almost as quietly as it began, Lauren Conrad and actor Kyle Howard have ended their three year relationship, reports E! News.

“Sources close to the now ex-duo confirm that the breakup was a mutual decision and that no third parties were involved,” they report.

One of the biggest reasons Lauren, 24, quit starring on MTV’s hit reality show, The Hills, was so she could maintain her personal life — especially a relationship — without cameras around 24/7. In fact, Lauren and 33-year-old Kyle’s romance was thought to be going so swimmingly, they were rumored to be engaged earlier this year!

Although we’re glad to hear their split was drama-free, we’re bummed it didn’t work out. LC and Kyle made a cute couple!

You said that you like to read/research food & good recipes, what are some good resources to look at?
I get most of my recipes online. One of my favorite sites is www.allrecipes.com. I love any site what has comments and reviews. Others who have already attempted the dish can give you tips or suggestions on what to change.

How do you decide when to take a fashion risk and when to play it safe?
To be honest I take most of my fashion risks when I know people won’t take note. A night out bar hopping with your girls (dive bars, not clubs) is a perfect night to test drive a new look. On the carpet I tend to play it safe most of the time. The press can be brutal but your friends are much kinder.

What are your favorite nail polishes for summer?
Last summer was all about brights, but this summer I am gravitating towards muted colors. I am loving colors like soft pinks, mint greens and pale blues. So pretty!

What’s the funniest moment you had with a best friend that makes you laugh just thinking about it?
I had a few candles lit in my room one day when something on my table caught on fire. All of a sudden there were flames in the middle of my room. I yelled for my roommate and we didn’t know what to do so we just started running around screaming. Then I ran to get a towel and wet it to put out the flames. At the same time Maura, my roommate ran to get a pitcher of water. I quickly smothered the fire and just after I had put it out, Maura came running in an threw water all over my room. Luckily nothing was damaged and we laughed for so long afterwards.

Were you nervous to first put paper crown out there into the world knowing it was a self funded project?
Yes, very! When you venture out on your own with a project like this there is no one else to point a finger at if it doesn’t perform. That being said, I have really enjoyed the freedom it has allowed me in making both business and creative decisions. When it comes down to it, this is really a passion project. I’m able to do something I love with people I love and I feel so fortunate. If people respond to the line that’s just icing on the cake.

What is your favorite casual look for a sunny summer day?
Warm sunny days are my favorite to dress for. I usually opt for something flowy, whether it be a summer dress or a light weight blouse. I am also a fan of cut off denim shorts. Not too short or too tight, just cute and comfortable.

What is it like to be considered a role model to some many young girls out there?
Both nerve wracking and flattering. It is such a compliment to be told that you are looked up to, but with that comes responsibility. I have always lived my life the way I wanted and tried not to let others affect my decisions. That said, I do try to be aware of how my choices effect other people. I think it’s all about finding a balance.

You have a great figure. Are you a keen healthy eater and exercise girl?
Well thank you! Like any girl I have to work to stay healthy. As I become more and more busy a lot more of my health depends on my diet.I used to be able to eat whatever I wanted (within reason) because I was working out almost everyday. These days that just isn’t a reality for me. Some days I just can’t make it to the gym or find the time to go for a hike. Because of this I have really taken an interest in the food I put into my body. I read books and research the things that I should and should not be eating (there is some scary stuff out there!)So I try my best to eat clean avoiding processed foods or foods with ingredients that I can’t pronounce. I have also grown to love cooking which helps. I buy organic and know exactly what is going into my meals.

But these days, the LA gal is far from her reality show dramas and is now designing a clothing collection, Paper Crown, that LA fashionistas will love. “I wanted it to have an overall chic look that felt effortless,” Lauren told me. “Both the fabrics and colors are soft and pretty. When you’re not working, where do you like to eat and what do you recommend from each place?
My kitchen! When I am not too busy, I love to cook. It’s my favorite place to eat in LA. If I want to go out to dinner for the night I usually go for sushi. Katsuya is always amazing. Their baked crab hand roll in soy paper is my favorite thing on the menu and their watermelon mojitos are delicious. For more traditional sushi I just tried Sugar Fish for the first time and it was wonderful. The fish there is so fresh and I suggest any of their sashimi.

There are so many cool neighborhoods in LA but which is your favorite?
It depends what I’m doing but, I think my favorite neighborhood in all of LA is West Hollywood. There are lots of great shops, restaurants, and bars in that area.

Where are a few places every LA gal should go to get pampered?
I love Kate Somerville . I get a few different treatments there — facials, laser treatments, body wraps. Everyone there is so wonderful and the decor is amazing.

In your opinion, which are LA’s most standout boutiques and what makes them so cool?
To be honest, most of my shopping these days is done online. When I do venture out to boutiques it is normally to Intermix, Planet Blue, or Bleu They all have a great selection of brands and friendly service.
